This is a tremendous summary of the situation, one that should in a sane world force people to see logic and reason … but most won’t. Here in Australia in early 2020 the average citizen responded to the purely psychological projection of covid fear by rushing out and causing a toilet paper shortage, in the first of what soon became almost weekly displays of cowardice and moral turpitude. Of course they were only following the example of their brave leaders. As one of very few people in my social circle who saw through the psy-op, to this day I wonder about the people I once would be friendly with, who projected the worst of humanity, closed their eyes to reality and outsourced their critical thinking to tyrannical bureaucracies and absolutely refused to be argued with about any of it. But now they’ve simply “moved on” … I’m surrounded by “Good Australians” who can’t remember ever supporting any of the tyranny, and who maintain the mandates and lockdowns were at worst poorly-conceived, but ultimately still beneficial.
Exactly. What bugs me now is the refrain from certain people of “just drop it now” or “why don’t you want to attend occasion X with persons A and B?” when the answer is so obviously “because only a year ago I was banned from doing so for no sane reason and A and B either gave no shits or were openly supportive of my exclusion.”
Not to mention probably accusing you of wanting to kill grandma. Very convenient to want to forget those things after all they were just following the science.
I believe that the rushing out to buy lots of toilet paper was because people realised that there was a lot of crap coming out of government. At least in the UK that might have been the case.

It’s like an alternate reality isn’t it? I find it very frustrating too that people just moved on. It means the same thing will happen again

The toilet paper thing makes me crazy. It would be my last problem if confined at home.
You saw how the good Germans carried about
Yup … no one saw nothing, no one knew nothing!
Coward is as a coward does. Live for nothing, die for nothing. Never knew nothing.
Unfortunately
