You would most likely enjoy the writings of Barry Fell and Stuart L Harris who are more contemporary.

Also Immanuel Velikovsky, though somewhat older and a few of his theories can no longer be substantiated but some of what he writes is more gripping than covid theatre.

They all have a genuine curiosity to find the truth instead of the narrative.

What I find delightful is the new information that comes to light that links ancient languages from 8000 BC with the Finnish language, from all over the world at a time when humans allegedly did not sail the oceans but yet somehow they have left carvings that can be translated if you use the correct language as a basis.

As a doctor, there is so much in medical history that so few people have touched that that might be the best expose you could do.

Velikovsky is a great read. I do not know how many of his books are still in print. I read Worlds in collision and The Sea People, but there are several more (Earth in distress - not sure if that is the English title). He did enormous research world wide but is greatly neglected by The Experts.
