By being the worst, laziest and untrustworthy mother ever seen! My son was afraid to leave her alone with the first, then the 2nd was born disabled, the third swiftly followed and he had his hands full looking after them all while she messed about on Facebook during the final supposedly difficult pregnancy. It was less than a couple of months after the final birth that she disappeared one morning, leaving my son caring for all 4 kids. Suddenly, there he was with the baby in a body sling and the others playing all around his feet when the cops turned up to arrest him! She had reported him for assault and he was instantly homeless - it was the coldest night in February and I had to drive across the country to pick him up before he froze on the streets.
We are talking about one mighty scheming, selfish bitch here. My son never saw his kids again. Can you imagine what that has done to him?

I am so very sorry your son fell prey to such a person's machinations. I'm even more sorry that he was unable to get custody of the children!
However, I don't see how this should be an indictment against marriage/monogamy in general.
I did not intend it to be an indictment. He wasn't married and she wasn't monogamous. Just facts in answer to a question.
