My nephew used to work at a company that would fabricate models and such for Tesla. I have forgotten exactly what they were. But he said that Tesla was badly run. The son of a friend of my husband's worked at Tesla for a time, but he quit when Musk fired his manager.

I'm not that certain about some of Musk's ethics. And it will be money that directs the proliferation anyhow, not a person with ethics.
