Mahalo, I've been researching and challenging this project since June, 2022. Our nonprofit Hawai'i Unites was founded in January, 2023, and has been actively focused on stopping the mosquito releases through testimony, documentation, activism, and legal action.
While much of the work researching and organizing is done by our dedicated volunteer team, we have supporters throughout the Hawaiian Islands and worldwide, including over 6,900 who have signed our online petition to Demand an Environmental Impact Statement for the Experimental Mosquito Release on Maui.
Hawai'i Unites is a grassroots, volunteer organization that is funded by the community. Tax-deductible donations help us continue the important work that we're doing to protect the 'āina.
