I have been wondering about shedding for the last several months. A year ago, my 23yo son broke his leg badly and had to move home as he couldn't care for himself during the many months of non-weight-bearing. He chose to get the initial series and a booster of Pfizer back in late 2021. He also developed a "reactive lymph node" after the first shot (that he never got checked out and went ahead with second dose and later a booster). He is the only person in my close orbit who got an mRNA shot and the only one in our house that got a covid jab. Since he's been living in my home I have been susceptible to every stupid virus that comes along, had more migraines than before, have had a lot more physical pain (and I do have hEDS), have developed an autoimmune condition and have generally been a lot more miserable. I started looking into shedding in early February of this year after my fourth illness in six weeks and in early March I started taking nattokinase, bromelain, NAC and a weekly prophylactic dose of Ivermectin. Boy has it made a difference! I haven't been sick since, where in the months before I started it at least every month I had something and in the winter months it was even more frequent.

Because I don't have a lot of frequent close contact with vaccinated folks and don't seem to be as sensitive as some, I didn't really start to suspect shedding until early 2024. I mean, I'm able to be in crowds or in public at large without experiencing anything suspicious, be around my J&J vax'd cousin several times a week, receive a massage once a week from a 1x Pfizer'd therapist, etc - but living day to day with my son definitely appears to be problematic. That lymph node is STILL enlarged all these years later, which to me indicates an ongoing issue with his body in particular perhaps still manufacturing and shedding a high load of spike protein - but I've had no luck convincing him to do anything about it. He is planning to move out on his own again in June, I am anxiously curious to see what happens to my symptoms and susceptibility to illness when he's gone.
